Wisnu Jatmiko received his BS in Electrical Engineering and MSc in Computer Science from Universitas Indonesia in 1997 and 2000, respectively. In 2007, he received his Dr. Eng. degree from Nagoya University, Japan. Currently, he works at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia, Indonesia as a lecturer and from September 2017 become a full Professor. He also holds the IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Indonesia Section Chair from 2019- 2020 as well as a Senior Member IEEE (SMIEEE). His research interest Micro-nano Systems, Realtime Traffic Monitoring Systems, Telehealth Information Systems, and Autonomous Robots.
Enhancement of Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm for Increasing Performance of Multiple Pursuer Drones in Handling Attacks from Evader Drone Swarm
The rapid development of drone technology provides many benefits for the human race. However, some threats are also occurred because of this situation. One of the most dangerous threats produced by the current drone technology is the misused of it as a lethal weapon to attack an area. Nowadays, some people might develop some military drones swarm to strike an area effectively. In order to handle this kind of attack, we develop a coordination algorithm for a group of autonomous drones to communicate with each other to conduct a useful maneuver to catch any evader drone swarm. We develop a Social Spider Optimization-based algorithm for the coordination algorithm. This method is a variant of the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm.
